No collector can be happy.
The nature of the “collection” is irrelevant. One could collect stamps, coins, wine, watches, cars or even private jets.
The collector is always unhappy because his collection is never complete.
No matter how large your collection is, there is always something that you don’t have.
And that craving for what you don’t have in your collection will keep you awake at night.
The trick is to get out of “The collector’s mode” as soon as one realises one is becoming a collector.
You cannot buy happiness by adding to your collection.
You become happier by getting rid of it.
